Rajkumar Hirani is a filmmaker who believes in providing a real life touch to all his films. For Munnabhai MBBS, he shot the scenes in a hospital. For the 3 Idiots, he does the same, only there are no real life doctors. He shot in a hospital in Vashi for a week.
Imagine how happy the staff was to be with Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor. They posed with them and took their autographs. It was fun.
Earlier on, Rajkumar Hirani had shot the college scenes with students in Bengaluru.
