British-born actress Katrina Kaif had a whale of time in exotic Marbella city in Andalusia, Spain along with her sisters. The six Kaif sisters let their hair down with their only brother Michael being the lone man in tow.
"It was quite a glamorous sight, if I say so myself, to see six similar-looking women accompanied by one 30-year-old handsome guy (my brother Michael) in restaurants in Spain. We formed a secret society that quite comfortable excluded everyone around. We were just happy being one big family," Katrina, whose last release "New York" got rave reviews, told on phone from London.
The downside of this cosy family reunion in Marbella was that all the Spanish guys just stayed away.
"I think they got intimidated seeing six girls accompanied by one man. They couldn't make out what the man's connection with all these women was," said Katrina.
Only the eldest sister from the Kaif family got some male attention in Marbella.
"That's because she speaks fluent Spanish. She had a Mexican boyfriend. So my eldest sister interacted with the local population in Marbella. All the sisters just stuck together having a ball with an invisible 'No Trespassers Allowed' board stuck to us," said Katrina.
Now back in London, Katrina wants to get back to Mumbai. "I'm not used to being fussed over. My mother is constantly inquiring about my food. That gets to me because basically I'm a loner," said the actress who turned 25 July 16.
Speaking about her birthday, she said: "This has to be the best birthday of my life. I had the time of my life. It's quite a sight to see all us sisters and our protective brother walking together. I must say all my sisters are better looking than I am."
It'd be a while before Katrina gets back to Mumbai.
She will fly to Chicago and Atlanta to take part in the Independence Day carnival in Chicago before heading home. The South Asian organization is putting together Zee Carnival on Aug 15 and 16 to be held in Chicago.
"I'm participating with Shah Rukh Khan. We've been to events together," she said.

The vacation comes after the actress flew to London to spend her 25th birthday with her family, a reunion, which was well overdue as their earlier get-togethers always had someone or another missing.
Now back in London, Kat wants to get back to Mumbai and back to Salman Khantoo, especially as their relationship appears to be moving into a new phase withKatrina admitting her feelings for him publicly for the first time only last month.
However, sadly love will just have to wait as Katrina heads first to Chicago where she will take part in the Independence Day celebrations.
Get geared up for the desi version of ‘Hangover’
The recent Hollywood flick ‘Hangover’ was a bit hit and the story of the film involved four guys who attend a 24 hour stag party in LA. When they wake up they realize that the groom has gone missing and this happens to be the worst hangover of their life.
Now, the flick will be made in Hindi by Firoz Nadiadwala who has bought the rights of the movie for its desi version. The movie will be directed by Anees Bazmee. Abhishek Bachchan will play the role played by Bradley Cooper and Paresh Rawal will enact the character played by Zach Galifianakis. Katrina Kaif will play the role of the fiancée. The film will start early next year in the locales of South Africa.
Riteish Deshmukh and Sanjay Dutt are also being considered for the roles. Firoz will start on the script as soon as he wraps up ‘No Problem’.

Sanjay had not been able to find one that would suit the role. Owing to this, Seven Days in Paris, which was scheduled to begin in Paris during the first week of August, has been put on hold.

She admitted, for the first time, that she is in love with Salman Khan and even went to the extent of revealing that she carries a picture of Salman with her where-ever she goes. This is the first ever candid admission of love by the actress who’s kept mum about her personal life since she stepped in Bollywood about six years ago.
Katrina also did not shy away from discussing the question of marriage.
She revealed that she wants to focus on her blooming career for a couple of years before settling down and she admitted that Salman is eager to tie the knot.
Kat also shot down the rumours of a possible romance between Salman and German model Claudia Ciesla. She said Salman’s association with the model was only professional. She also scoffed the rumours linking her with Ranbir Kapoor, her co-star of Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani and Rajniti.

Firoz Nadiadwala has purchased the rights of Hangover—the much talked about film. It will be directed by Firoz’s favourite director Anees Bazmee. In the comedy, four men travel to Las Vegas for a 24 hour stag party.
They wake up with the worst hangover and find that the groom is missing, as they try to recall the details of the debauched night.
A source said, “Firozbhai loved the script and the film and immediately got into the process of acquiring the Hindi rights of the film. In fact, he has also been casting for the film on the sly. Katrina Kaif will play the role of the fiancée. The film will start early next year.”
While Firoz Nadiadwala remained noncommittal, director Anees Bazmee confirmed the news. Anees said, “It’s true. I am shooting in South Africa and Sanjay Dutt and I have been discussing the film.
I loved the film and Sanjay is very eager to do it too. Even Ritesh Deshmukh and Abhishek Bachchan have been finalised. I am shooting No Problem in Durban, once I am free of that, I will start scripting the film.”

Priyadarshan has managed to bring the team of Hera Pheri back with his three favorite actors - Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal. Hera Pheri was a laugh riot made by him in the year 2000 and now he has managed to have the team and the same laugh riot in De Dhana Dhan.
“I’ve made a funny film... it is for the audience to patronise it now,” said Priyan who was sort of “possessed” to cast the three actors together again.

In a recent interview Katrina Kaif said she was 'nowhere near Kareena Kapoor as a performer'. Katrina's act of diplomacy seems to have gone down very well with Miss Kapoor.
The usually frank Bebo who has in the past rubbed many actresses the wrong way, acknowledged all the flattery from Katrina.
On Monday afternoon Kareena spoke at the launch of a new line of diamond jewellery in the Mumbai.
Incidentally Katrina Kaif also endorses another line designed by the same company. When asked about Katrina she said, "I am very grateful and thankful to Katrina for all the nice things she has said about me". Bebo said she was in no way envious of Katrina and the host of endorsements in her kitty.
Now we are not sure what has sparked off this newfound admiration between the two beauties. But if the two decide to do a film together, the Kareena-Katrina combo can certainly set the box office on fire.

Katrina is modest enough to admit – “Kareena is a fantastic actress.I’m still nowhere near her as a performer” and also when she says – “Can you imagine Parineeta without Vidya? Jab We Met without Kareena? Or, for that matter, Fashion without Priyanka? They are all first grade in these films.”
She is happy to be what she is. And she wants to pursue her career seriously. I believe she is already on the go and if she is really steadfast in her track she would soon be up and going with the real performers.

Katrina Kaif is on a high these days after her serious outing New York faired well at the box-office.
Though there were questions asked on what else she did in the movie other than look pretty, she did get the benefits of its success. However, the lady is not amused. She’s quite miffed with the press for portraying actresses as exchangeable amenities in Bollywood.
Talking to the media, she said that every successful actress of today has a certain uniqueness in them and it would be highly derogatory to say that they could be easily interchanged in a film without noticing any difference. And she didn’t stop at that. She went away commenting that what Kareena Kapoor can do, she herself could never do! But Kat a few days back you had commented on Bebo saying you didn’t have to wear mini skirts to make a film successful. Something’s fishy Kat!
Well…Katrina didn’t stop at Kareena Kapoor either and moved on to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Vidya Balan and Priyanka Chopra saying they were unmatched in Guru, Parineeta and Fashion respectively.
Katrina, you sure made a point clear that what you can do others can’t and what a way to put that statement forward…kudos to you!
Will Katrina Kaif be the Queen of Singh is Kinng 2?
We all know that Vipul Shah is all set to come up with a sequel of Singh Is Kinng very soon. But very few of us are aware that he is planning to direct the film this time. For now the producer is busy with his Action Replay. Our khabroo reporter informs, “He is very excited with the sequel of Singh Is Kinng and is just waiting for his schedule of Action Replay to get over. Alongside, he was talking to Akki about directing SIK 2 himself.”
“As we all know even Akki is eager to start with the film. The only question that now remains- will Katrina be part of it. Well the production is planning to approach her, but nothing has been finalized as of now,” adds the source.
If not Katrina, then who can be the one to grab the limelight with Akki on big screen? Any suggestions guys!

Her Amrapali-style costume replete with traditional jewels and classical dance steps makes Kat appear unrecognisable.
