Looks like the hot bong babe Celina Jaitley is in the news these days for every good and hot reason. Recently Celina Jaitley was seen in a promotional event for her forthcoming flick Accident on Hillroad where she was wearing a black sari in which she was looking stunningly gorgeous.

By frequently wearing sari to most of the functions Celina is spreading the message to the world that by wearing sari any one can look as hot and sexy as they can in bikini. Celina’s deep black blouse which she wore revealed her assets.

Where Celina Jaitley openly supports the gay community in India, Baba Ramdev has claimed that homosexuality is a disease which he can cure. Both being on opposite camps, it is but natural that both will hurl accusations on each otherThis is what Baba had commented about Celina, “These actresses know nothing about Bhartiya sanskriti. They stay away from their parents and have no morals. Unke partner har mahine badalte hain.”

This comment has obviously offended Celina who is not the one to take anything lying down. She retorts back saying, “Well, isn’t it strange that this great Brahamachari seems to know more about my sex life then I may know myself? I couldn’t be more amused when I heard him making such statements. I really believe though that he himself does not know the meaning of true ‘Brahamacharya’.”

Celina also answers back on Baba’s comment that she lacks the knowledge of Indian culture. She says, “He has also challenged on my knowledge of ‘bhartiya sanskriti’. Well, this is my take on it:

I am a 4th generation Bhartiya Fauji kid
I am a Bhartiya Sundari 2001
My 80% education has been in Bhartiya Hindi medium Kendriya Vidyalaya
My education background is science and computers
I had Sanskrit as a subject until 10th grade
I have lived all my life in the interiors of India
I speak five Indian languages
I can recite 500 Sanskrit shlokas
I have been a Yoga practitioner since the age of 14

Need I say more?”

Hmmm! We are impressed, but we doubt whether this will impress Baba Ramdev…..

Smarting at the comments of columnist Shobhaa De in her recent column as well as in a magazine interview Celina Jaitly, addresses De. In her own words.

"As a military attache's grand daughter and the daughter of an army colonel, I have been brought up to not react to the insults made by my elders. I've had the sort of upbringing which makes me reserve my comments against jibes made by someone my grandmother's age.

Having been a Ms india, a Ms Universe runner up, a social activist, a writer, tourism ambassador to Eygpt and an actor who speaks five languages and has travelled the whole of India and the world, I pride myself on my acheivements in the last twenty six years of my life how ever big or small they might be because they were acheived not out of fluttering around as a social butterfly or writing sexually provacative stories. I am the living example of a modern day middle class girl who has done well for herself and stood up for what is right to the entire world and not some diplomatic typical world peace related issues.

I feel, after reading Shobha aunty's last colum that she is taking a neutral stand (against the decision to make homosexuality legal in the county) to keep both sides happy, until the supreme court decision comes through.... and then she will swing to whichever side of the grass is greener.

Sad, I expected much more from her. I guess Ms De lives to put down the film industry no matter what our contribution is. She should know we actors are people of the massses and classes, we see no race and no religion. All we see is how human we can be. No matter what their sexual orientation."

Celina Jaitley is one actress who has never been shy to express her feelings on homosexuality. She was the one who came out to launch the first official gay magazine in India and also had to face a lot of threats and abusive remarks for standing up for the gay community. Now that Article 377 has finally been nullified and homosexuality is legalized in India, she is definitely happy.

Here is what she had to say to express her feelings, “I have been receiving threats from radical and cultural groups. But I was simply standing for the fundamental right of a human being, so what if he or she is a homosexual.There are many people in the film industry who are from the sexual minority and they will now be able to come out in the open.Some of the people who have touched my lives were homosexuals. I owe a lot to them.”
