Actress Megan Fox says she wants to use her star status to help less fortunate people.
The 23-year-old beauty, who rose to international stardom withTransformers, insists she won't feel fulfilled until she uses her high profile to better the lives of others.
"Overall, in terms of this business, I hope to gain the status that will enable me to be truly and legitimately helpful to people,” the Daily Star quoted Fox as saying.
"I feel like that's my purpose in life, to do charity work and help people around the world on a global level.
“Being part of this business, you have so much influence and you can really make a difference. I'm drawn towards the idea of somehow helping children," she added.

In the upcoming issue of British GQ Fox said, “I can’t tell you how much bullsh*t I’ve been through because I will openly say that I smoke weed. People look at it like it’s this crazy, hippy, f**ked-up thing to do. And it’s not. I hope they legalize it. “I have been a few times and even though there are a lot of guys here, they are always very polite and very kind,” explains Megan. “Maybe it’s because I’m a geek too but the guys you meet here are very nice and very appreciative of what you do.”
Megan Fox, 23, recently described herself as a tomboy, who gets on much better with guys than girls.
“I actually only had one female friend growing up,” she said. “Most of my friends were boys. I was such a tomboy. I always enjoyed doing guy things.
One guy that Megan definitely doesn’t want to befriend is the ‘gentleman’ who asked her to star in his sex tape.
Fox was at Comic-con promoting her upcoming film supernatural western Jonah Hex, when a fan stepped up to ask a surprising question.

“The report about Megan Fox turning down a Bond movie is completely not true,” her rep said. “There have been no discussions nor any offers. Megan is a fan of the Bond movies.”
Fox is attending Comic-Con in San Diego this week, to do publicity for her upcoming films Jonah Hex and Jennifer's Body.
