The “Maya” in Katrina
Kabir Khan who won the National Award for his film Kabul Express is man with deep understanding. But when Katrina first met him for working in his film New York, she felt she would never be able to relate to him. Gradually while they started working together Katrina was drawn towards him with his deep understanding of things and the way of looking at things. Katrina’s plays the role of Maya who is a student from India studying in an American University. She is full of fun and has an innate sense of happiness in her. Kabir Khan advised Katrina to look deep into herself and discover the Maya insider her self. What a valuable piece of advice and what a wonderful way of looking at human character.
