IIFA 2009, a dull show?
The Indian International Film Awards aka IIFA will be held in Macau this year on 11-13th June 2009. But with many film actors opting out of the show, there is a question whether it would be a good show or no show at all. Akshay Kumar gave one of the most delightful performances at the IIFA last year but this year he will go out on a holiday with his family, which he says is his priority for the sake of son Aarav. Shahrukh and Salman have stepped out from being present for reasons not known. Even Shahid Kapoor who could have given a Dhamaka presentation has opted out. Priyanka Chopra and Hrithik Roshan would not be performing but they have consented to be present at the function. There will be dance performances by Aishwarya Rai, Sonam Kapoor, Bipasha Basu. In fact, Madhur Bhandarkar is taking film Jail for his first look on IIFA. Neil Nitin will not be performing but he is happy, he said, to be there with the team of Jail. And there would be Mr Bachchan of course who is the Brand Ambassador of IIFA, with his family, Mrs,. Jaya Bachchan, Abhishek and Aishwarya.
