Shirish Kunder claims his next Tees Maar Khan is funnier than The Hangover
Shirish Kunder is ready with the script of his next movie Tees Maar Khan and is now casting.
With this film, the Jaan-E-Mann director is taking on the comedy films genre, which is the current flavour of B-Town.
Casting's begun
Shirish confirms, "Tees Maar Khan is an out and out comedy that will go on floors next year. I have already begun casting for it." Meanwhile he is scripting another film, "It's a romantic subject. I am presently writing the dialogue draft for it. However, all my focus at the moment is on Tees Maar Khan," which Kunder says will be 10 times funnier than the Hollywood sleeper hit Hangover.
Joker on hold
Even though he's focusing on Tees Maar Khan, Shirish hasn't given up on Joker which he calls his dream project. "Joker is very much still on. Since it's a project of a very large scale, I am just putting everything together and it's taking its time.
But it will surely happen soon. That's my dream project. Since my last film was a rom-com I didn't want to write another romantic soon after. So I wrote a super hero script Joker, then went out to write Tees Maar Khan and now back to writing a full-on romantic script."
