Bobby Deol is acting in his first horror film
Bobby Deol is acting in his first-ever horror flick. The actor is currently shooting in Mauritius directed by one-film-old Rajeev Virani. He is paired with model-turned-actress Mugdha Godse.
The Junior Jat has been quoted saying that he hates horror flicks and doesn't even watch films of the genre, so it's a huge leap for him to act in a scary movie.A source close to Bobby reveals, "If he walks into a room and if when somebody is watching a horror flick, he walks out. He can't stand slice- and-dice and the blood and gore in such films. He finds them yucky and gruesome." The actor who made his debut in Barsaat (1995) is known best for his romantic and action flicks.
Bobby explains, "I have tried my hand at all possible genres and when I read the script of this film, I was intrigued and I decided to sign it. It is an interesting story and is being made in a stylish manner. I have seen director Rajeev's prior work and am impressed with it. I am not a big fan of horror movies; I get scared while watching them. So it is interesting for me to do a film like this."
The actor further adds, "I didn't sign this movie because the horror genre is 'hot' these days." Moreover, Deol adds that this film is an original and not a rip off of any foreign movie.
The actor is in talks for a funny film next. He confirms, "Right now, I am listening to scripts and might do a comedy film after I am done with this horror one. Other than this, I have my new film Vaada Raha coming up with Kangna. It is a very sweet story of never giving up hope and we made it on a very small budget."
